Vincent “B.J.” Lawrence

Vincent “B.J.” Lawrence is a United States Army Veteran and former National Commander (2018-2019) of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. B.J. served as the VFW’s Executive Director of its Washington office from 2019-2021 where he was responsible for the oversight of the organizations National Legislative and National Veterans Service efforts on Capitol Hill. While serving in the United States Army, B.J. completed overseas service in the Republic of South Korea as an Air Defense Artillery Crewmember and Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Non-Commissioned Officer. After leaving the military, he served his community for many years as a Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, and Emergency Medical Technician. B.J. grew up hunting and fishing in the southwest with most of his free time spent in the great outdoors of his home state of New Mexico.

Frederick “Freddy” Lawrence

Frederick (Freddy) Lawrence is a United States Marine Corps Veteran and now serves in the cyber-security field for a private contractor. Freddy’s combat service includes deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends most of his free time either hunting the beautiful Hill Country, or boating / fishing the waterways in his home state of Texas. Freddy enjoys the comradery of fellow combat veterans and is committed to continuing his service by assisting our Nation’s Military Veterans by providing a memorable experience in the great outdoors.

Scott Head

Scott Head is a United States Navy Veteran and currently works in the cybersecurity field as a government contractor. Scott’s deployments include JTF Afghanistan (2015-2016) and numerous middle eastern direct support missions (2008-2010). Growing up in the south, Scott has been hunting and shooting his entire life. Scott enjoys the outdoors and the spiritual calming the wilderness provides. Scott still serves as a Reservist and enjoys the fellowship of other Veterans while sharing a mutual bond. He is dedicated to helping others enjoy and restore themselves through a remarkable outdoor experience.

Thomas Hotaling

Thomas Hotaling has a passion for service, adventure, and the great outdoors. As a 10-year combat-disabled veteran. 2002-2011

Having served with the prestigious Fifth Special Forces Group out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, for five years, Thomas honed his skills in the most challenging and demanding environments with 4 deployments to Iraq. His expertise as an airborne and pathfinder instructor, acquired during their five-year tenure at Fort Benning, Georgia, has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the next generation of soldiers.

Currently, Thomas works for a DOD covert contracting company in Fort Worth, Texas, where their commitment to excellence and their invaluable experience continue to make a difference.

An avid bowhunter and outdoorsman, Thomas finds solace and fulfillment in the beauty of nature. He relishes the camaraderie that comes with spending time with fellow veterans, sharing stories, and introducing them to the wonders of the outdoors.
